Emily's Wedding Dress #3

The dress sketch is finalized and fabrics have been chosen.
This beautiful Charmeuse fabric in Ecru will be used as the lining of the dress.  It is a simple slip style that will be lined from top to bottom.  So the skirt will be fully lined.
I love the silk crep de chine fabric also in Ecru that will be used as the flowy outer layer of the dress.
A plain silk organza also in Ecru will be used for the interfacing of the bodice.  It is still very light but has a stability that will help the bodice hold it's tailored crispness.
All the fabric will be ordered from Ny Fashion Center.  I was a little worried about getting this fabric ordered but they have an amazing shipping program.  Spend over $300 and shipping is free.  They also say most fabrics ship and are in the your hands one business day after ordering.  Amazing.  I am no longer worried about rushing a fabric order.

My final shot is the pattern I made from the organza bodice I put together.  I took the bodice apart and cleaned up the lines to make sure it was symmetrical and even.  I will make the bodice again from the pattern and see how that turns out next.
